About the project

The main aim of this project is to create the motivation for mobility that is a chance to obtain a variety of experiences, knowledge and skills.
The project's motto "To see means to know" makes us become aware of the need to possess personal experience, to explore and learn.

The main idea of the project is travel which not only means relocating from a particular place to a given destination, but is also associated with movement, activity and development.

By analyzing various types of travel, both in literal and metaphorical sense, we would like to teach people how to become open to different cultures, motivate students to learn foreign languages as well as develop various skills which we acquire through planning, organizing and recording the travel. We hope to create an enterprising, conscious consumer who will be able to manage their time effectively and use all possible opportunities to develop.

The travel to the roots, which is called ' searching for the meaning of names and national symbols', is supposed to teach students respect for their own history. Also, through exchanging experiences with others, this project aims at teaching respect for the history of other countries. By using the idea of sustainable tourism, we would like to promote the principles of conscious, responsible travelling, also outside Europe.

We hope to become familiar with the culture, customs as well as inhabitants' problems from the Global South (particularly Africa). As a result, we want our project to encourage all participants to become consciously involved in the world's development. By using various forms of work, we will show that travel expands your horizons, provide necessary experiences and contribute to the development of global community.
